The Carrie Diaries has found its Samantha.
Lindsey Gort has landed the plum role of the outspoken Samantha Jones opposite Anna Sophia Robs Carrie Bradshaw for the CW charmer's upcoming second season, Warner Bros. TV announced on Saturday. Of course, the role was made famous by Kim Cattrall in HBO's hit series Sex and the City; and Carrie Diaries fans have eagerly awaited the introduction of one of Carrie's three best girlfriends.
Even better? Gort is coming on as a series regular, which means fans can expect to see tons of Samantha in the new season. How fabulous! So how will the younger versions of Carrie and Samantha cross paths?
