Today, if today marks 15 years of the issuance of the first chapter of a series that marked a before and after in the world of fashion worldwide and, of course, wanted to pay my own tribute by making a post.
On this day it first aired an episode of the series Sex and the City, based on the book by Candace Bushnell. It aired from HBO and since then has only to reap success after success.
Carrie Bradshaw and her three best friends, aged between 30 and 40 years, exploring the role of being sexually active single women in the new millennium. The series became famous for recording scenes on the streets, bars, restaurants and nightclubs in New York City, while carrying another dimension of fashion and breaking sexual taboos.
This series is the largest advertising that has been done to a city and was never launched to fame of my favorite shoe designer, Manolo Blahnik.
